What is it?

Profhilo® is a special hyaluronic filler designed to rejuvenate the skin and improve the tightness of loose skin. Profhilo deeply hydrates the skin and improves its quality. The best thing about this product is that it gives only natural results. Profhilo cannot be used to inflate the face and create a contrived look in the long term. It is an ultra-pure hyaluronic acid that is not cross-linked, but is made with special NAHYCO® technology with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market. Hyaluronic acid is formulated to stimulate fibroblasts in the skin after application, thus stimulating them to produce more collagen and elastin.

The product is extremely safe and suitable for all skin types, for men and women of all ages, especially from 25 to 65 years of age. It can be used anywhere on the body, most commonly on the face, neck, décolleté, back of the arms, abdomen, above the knees and buttocks.

Profhilo Structura is a new formulation of Profhilo with the same biochemical properties; however, it has a higher density of hyaluronic acid. 2 ml of Profhilo Structura contains 90 mg of hyaluronic acid, making it a powerful tool for adipose tissue regeneration. Profhilo Structura is used in the superficial adipose tissue of the face, where it stimulates preadipocytes and improves adipose tissue atrophy. The end results are a smooth lifting effect of the face and very natural rejuvenation.

About the procedure

Both Profhilo treatments are applied in an extremely simple and quick manner, which is ideal for patients. The procedure is minimally painful, takes a short time, and does not require a long recovery, making it a practical and comfortable solution for skin rejuvenation.

Profhilo® is injected into pre-determined points on the skin using a very fine needle. The procedure is minimally painful, and the injection is effectively alleviated with ice.

Profhilo Structura is applied with a cannula into the fatty tissue beneath the skin. There are two protocols for application, depending on the type of face.

The entire procedure lasts around 30 minutes. No special preparation is needed before the treatment, but after the procedure, it is advised to avoid intense sun exposure for three days. As with any method involving a needle, small bruises may occur, but they always resolve within a few days.

At the injection site, a skin papule may form, which disappears within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the thickness of the skin. Profhilo® naturally spreads and disperses across the deeper layers of the skin, so no additional massage is needed.

For both types of Profhilo, we recommend repeating the procedure after one month. The results develop gradually. With Profhilo, you can expect better-hydrated skin within a few days, while skin tightness improves within 3 to 6 weeks after the second application. Results last from 6 to 9 months.
