What is it?

Thanks to fillers we have a non invasive, non surgical method used to repair the signs of ageing and to give your face a more youthful, fresher and most of all a happier look. The fillers are injected in or under the skin, where they consequently fill the missing volume and straighten the facial lines and wrinkles. 

With fillers we can:

• make you look much less tired,
• reduce the wrinkles around the mouth,
• bring back fullness to chicks, dried lips, furthermore we make uneven lips symmetrical,
• chin and nose shape can be improved,
• on men we can emphasize lower jaw and thus make them more masculine.

In our clinic we use exclusively temporary hyaluronic fillers (Juvederm) which are the safest and most valuable type of products. Hyaluronic acid humidifies the skin, giving it firmness and smooth texture.

About the procedure

We inject the fillers with a thin needle or a cannula. The procedure is slightly painful and the pain can be minimised with a cream that contains a local anaesthetic.  This is usually not necessary since the fillers already contain an anaesthetic, furthermore we use ice packs at the site of injection prior to application. 

There is no preparation prior to this treatment,. The procedure lasts around 30 minutes and has a noticeable effect immediately, which last for 8-12 months. Make-up can be used already a few hours after the treatment. At home, we suggest cooling the area with ice packs for a few days.

Side effects

The most common side effects are local bruise and swelling in the treated area. The edema can last up to 2 weeks, but usually subsides in 2-3 days. Other side effects are extremely rare, especially in the hands of a well experienced physician and when using products of best quality.
