What is it?
During microdermabrasion we regenerate the skin by removing dead skin cells and allowing new, healthy skin to shine through. We achieve that with fine crystal sand, vacuum or a diamond head. This induces a regeneration process and formation of young cells and collagen.
Microdermabrasion is fantastic at treating:
- dull, dry or rough skin,
- acne and dark spots that can appear when acne starts to clear,
- superficial pigmentation, for example age spots,
- fine lines.
Though most commonly used on the face, microdermabrasion is also extremely effective when used on the hands, back, chest and neck.
About the procedure
The procedure is safe, pleasant and takes around 15 minutes. There is no downtime. Any redness will disappear soon after the treatment, and can be covered with a light layer of mineral makeup. You can follow your everyday activities immediately.
